How we arrived here

2019Bombay — We met on the 8:14 fast local to Churchgate, arguing over whether a window seat counts as shared property. Kabir lost. Maya has never let him forget it.

2024Assagao — Five years and one shared bookshelf later, Kabir proposed on the balcony at exactly the wrong moment — mid-monsoon, a power cut, mosquitoes. She said yes anyway.

2027Jaipur — Now we would like the two families who raised us to sit in one courtyard and pretend, for three days, that they have always known each other.
